Food was very good, the Rhineharts ate with their customers and if needed had special diets. Mike took her to the doctor on occasion. Good Christian atmosphere. The fact that Rhinehart Eldercare had an opening when I needed it for my mother was a gift from God! As an only child, I was totally responsible for caring for my mother, and she had come to the point she could no longer stay in her home alone. I live 30 miles away, and during the last two weeks she was home, I had to make the 60 mile round trip every day, Included in the misery were 7 trips to the ER due to her falling, having mini-strokes, or blood pressure in excess of 228 from forgetting or refusing to take her meds.

Mother was very reluctant to leave her home, and she refused to stay with me. In early November, I finally told her that she had to do something. I called Suzie, and she agreed to care for Mother. With some chagrin, Mother agreed to stay at least for the winter, but she was not happy about it. Suzie and Michael loved her even through her difficult times, and they were my angels for 5 1/2 years. I cannot express the love and respect that I have for them! I can only hope they are there when I need their care. If you have someone needing care, Rhinehart’s is the best there is!! – Shirley Johnson
